Seems about right. There were other top class replacements for some of those others - Keane could have been switched with Davids or Viera for example. The 4 he mentioned basically had no other equivalent replacement at that point in football.

Excellent interview. The only topic I wish had been addressed was the genre choice that Page mentioned in an extended interview from the mid 70s ( Trouser Press). In that interview he mentioned that he made a decision to pursue either the musical stylings of Zep or more along the lines of Fairport Convention. It saddens me that in all of the years he seemed to sit idle he could possibly have shifted genres and explored the ' road less travelled.' In the few instances where he did dabble with folk-ish musings he achieved incredible results.
